Cold. In more than one way...

Today I woke up at about 5am from a sneezing fit. You know it's not going to be a great day when you are literally woken up out of sleep before your alarm ever even goes off, especially by sneezing. My entire day has unfortunately been full of sneezing. I am obviously getting a cold. It's these type of days where I just want to be home at my mom's house wrapped up in a blanket with a box of tissues. So obviously, that's exactly where I am.

After class today I drove up to NKY and spent the evening with my mom. (Outside of the hour and 15 minutes I spent down in the basement running on the treadmill and doing Zumba. Yay go me!) I made us some breaded porkchops and augratin potatoes for dinner (added in some green peas to get that folic acid in my system, now that Cara has worried me about that vital nutrient!) Mom and I chatted and ate dinner together. Dad is at the cabin tonight, had to check on the bubbler to make sure the boat engines don't freeze up. So tonight it's just me, Momma Lonn, and the puppies.

My plans for the rest of the night are quite lame but so very relaxing. I plan to literally just lie here with a book reading for the rest of the night. Its cold out, naturally since it is January, so I am bundled up in the coziest blanket, next to both of my pups. I don't feel like moving, I have a cold, and so relaxing is exactly what the rest of my night is going to entail. There's nothing better than Cozying up to a great book on a cold night if you ask me. Except maybe being cozied up next to Alex... But unfortunately for me he is working until midnight. :(

This blog is lame, it's lacking anything interesting and is also lacking photos, but I feel like crud, so get over it. Tomorrow night is a huge poker night at Joe's (20ish people expected for the turnout) so hopefully Sunday I'll have some funny stories to tell with some awesome poker chip photos. I brought my DSLR in town just in case :)

I hope no one else is feeling craptastic on this Friday night... But if you are, get some rest. I am...
